Raleigh, NC – Tina Blake, a strategy and development consultant with vitalink® in Raleigh, has been asked to serve as co-chair the Raleigh-Durham UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball. Planning is underway now for the 2018 fundraising event.
“Education is so incredibly important to success,” says Blake. “I have met and talked with some amazing students. I wish it were not true, but many struggle with finances. I do want to see a single talented student lost because they could not afford to pay for school. The Mayor’s Masked Ball is a great fundraiser to support scholarships for deserving students.” Blake joined vitalink in 2016 and works with its higher education and senior living clients on strategy and development. She is heavily involved in the annual HBCUgrow conference supported by vitalink and its partners.
Blake is a graduate of East Carolina University. She handled the product rollout of the Alzheimer’s drug, Namenda, as well as product development and rollout of medical devices. Blake has been active in politics, and has coordinated statewide campaigns and worked in the US Congress. Her most recent position was as a consultant at Bartlett Reserve Senior Resort Living in Durham.
